Description
This O-ring has a 100 mm internal diameter and a 6 mm thick cord.
EPDM O-rings have good ozone and ageing resistance. It is the standard for hot water and steam. It has good resistance to many solvents, acids and ester-based hydraulic fluids. It is not resistant to vegetable, animal and mineral oils.
Pros:
- Suitable for temperatures from -45 to 130°C (-49 to 266°F)
- Very suitable for water, steam, ketones, alcohols, brake fluids, acids/alkalis in low concentrations
- Very good resistance to weather influences and ozone
- Conforms to DIN 3771, ISO 3601-1, JIS 240 P+G, SMS 1586, BS 1806/AS 568 A, BS 4518
Cons:
- Poor resistance to oils, grease, solvents, mineral products and fuels
