Scanstrut LMB-A2 Self-Levelling Aft Facing Backstay Radar Mount
This backstay radar mount from Scanstrut sits 8’6″ high and mounts forward of the backstay, keeping your radar clear from interference and your deck obstruction free. Constructed from marine grade aluminum for a long lasting mount. Designed to fit most up to date radars from such as Garmin and Raymarine, with a more comprehensive list below. The main levelling unit features a damping system that reacts to major changes in the boats heel angle. This mount requires no power and is completely maintenance free. The aluminum mounting pole is two pieces put together with a hidden joiner piece. An inner cable channel allows for a neat install. The stainless radome cradle is able to be adjusted for the backstay angle. This radar mount is able to be installed on both adjustable and split backstays. Included nylon backstay bushings clamp around the backstay allowing adjustment of the cable tension. Additional 0.6 and 1.3m extension pieces can be found here.
